This image of the NGC4631 galaxy group was taken from my Creedmoor site March 16, 2017. The NGC 4631 Group is a poorly defined group of galaxies, about 25 million light years from Earth in the Coma Berenices and Canes Venatici constellations. The galaxies consist of NGC4631 (The Whale), NGC4656 (The Hockey Stick) and NGC4627 the dwarf ellipical close to NGC4631.
