SN2014J in M82
Messier 82 also known as the Cigar galaxy taken on January 24, 2104. This shot shows supernova SN2014J discovered by astronomer Steve Fossey, of University College London on the 21st of January 2014. The galaxy M82 is about 11.5 million light years from earth.
