Sh2 173 Phantom of the Opera Nebula
A very faint emission nebula taken on September 25th 2021 from my Creedmoor site. This Sharpless object is a young HII region and is part of the larger Cas OB5 super shell. The image was taken with an Ha 6nm filter. The nebula is sometimes referred to as the Phantom of the Opera Nebula.
