SH2-224, taken on December 15th, 2015 from my Creedmoor site is a supernova remnant in the constellation Auriga.This remnant of an exploded star is thought to be about 15,000 light years distant and the material that makes up the nebula was from a star which exploded between 15,000 and 20,000 years ago.
